Whether or not you’re a sports buff, it’s hard to resist the excitement surrounding the London 2012 Summer Olympics.

From the opening to closing ceremonies, swimming to gymnastics, gold to bronze medals, this history-in-the-making event is clearly a must-see.

However, most busy professionals will not be able to get away with staying glued to their TV sets for the next couple of weeks, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on any of the action.

Also, turn to Pinterest for a quick visual fix on your own time. From a quaint collection of ads circa 1948 to DIY everything (party, food and kids games), plenty of boards on everything Olympics have surfaced.

Lucky for us, oh so many resources for watching and tracking the Games are available online. From fashion to food, the games have penetrated almost every aspect of our daily lives. Without taking it too far, there are plenty of fun ways to work the Games into your daily routine.
