MIAMI, August 8, 2007 – rbb Public Relations is the recipient of two of this year’s prestigious Silver Anvil Awards and an Award of Excellence, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). rbb was the only Florida firm to be honored with a Silver Anvil this year, and the only boutique firm nationally to win multiple Anvils. The Silver Anvil, which recognizes outstanding achievement in strategic public relations planning and implementation, was presented during the Silver Anvil Awards Evening held June 14 in New York City.

rbb Public Relations was recognized in the events/observances (more than seven days) category for promoting the 2005/2006 Chihuly at Fairchild exhibition at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, and in the public service category for its work in generating awareness nationally for TracFone Wireless’s free cell phone program for Hurricane Katrina victims. The TracFone Wireless program was also recognized with the Award of Excellence in the community relations category.

The Silver Anvil Awards has grown in scope and stature since its inception in 1946 to become the largest and most prestigious awards in the industry. A peer judging process by industry leaders in the corporate, government, non-profit and agency sectors reviewed more than 900 entries this year.
