rbb Communications has been recognized by The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) with a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence in marketing, consumer services, travel and tourism/hospitality for its “Seekender” campaign for Hampton by Hilton. In addition, rbb received a 2016 Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation in the Brochure, Digital category for a white paper “The Changing Business of Extended Stay Hotels” with Homewood Suites by Hilton.
rbb Communications developed the “Seekender” campaign to differentiate Hampton by Hilton from similarly priced hotels. The program created a new category of travelers who take advantage of the weekend to pursue their passions in food, music, sports and outdoor adventures. Through a series of innovative media techniques and influencer/consumer engagement, the agency’s breakout strategy sparked a connection between the brand’s diverse target audience and its 2,000+ hotels worldwide.
Results showed that in the first four months, “Seekender” increased weekend bookings across the Hampton by Hilton portfolio by two percent, drove up website traffic by nearly 17 percent, and increased engagement across social media channels by 14 percent.
