The award was given for the Reputation/Brand Management category and entitled FPL’s Storm Secure Program Leaves Hurricanes in the Past. The Silver Anvil, which recognizes outstanding achievement in strategic public relations planning and implementation, was presented during the Silver Anvil Awards Evening held June 5th in New York City.
The winning campaign, which also won a Holmes’ Report Gold SABRE this year, “FPL’s Storm Secure Program Leaves Hurricanes in the Past,” was launched to allay customer fears and bolster confidence after suffering the effects of seven hurricanes making landfall within 15 months. The program instilled public confidence in FPL’s ability to provide reliable electrical service in the event of future storms. FPL has been an rbb client for 16 years.
