MIAMI, December 17, 2013 – rbb Public Relations, a national marketing public relations firm that champions breakout brands, has added Sasha Blaney as an assistant account executive. She will provide administrative, marketing and media support to a number of the firm’s corporate, education and healthcare clients including the American Council on Exercise, Florida Power & Light Company, DECA TV, FirstService Residential, Kaplan University School of Nursing and Health Sciences and Mount Washington College.

Blaney joins rbb full time after serving as an intern for the agency. Prior to joining the rbb team, Blaney was a contributing writer for Refinery29 and, where she wrote articles on topics varying from fashion to hiking trips in the Everglades. Additionally Blaney has experience in marketing, working as a promotions assistant and social media coordinator for the Miami-based WPOW-FM (Power 96) radio station.

She holds a B.S. in Communication, with a concentration in English literature and journalism, from the University of Miami. She is also the social media committee chair of the PRSA Miami chapter.
