MIAMI – Jan. 21, 2016 – rbb Communications, Champion of Breakout Brands TM, added six new communications professionals to its account services team. The announcement was made by rbb’s President Lisa Ross.

Marlon LeWinter brings to rbb more than 13 years of communications experience working with high profile brands including Under Armour,, Microsoft and Timex. He is joining the company as an account director. Previously, he served as an account director with Catalyst Public Relations in New York managing national public relations programs. He has hosted client activations at some of the world’s largest sporting events including eight Super Bowls, six NFL Combines, two MLB All-Star Games and the FIFA World Cup Draw. LeWinter will offer strategic counsel and media expertise for consumer and travel clients, including Homewood Suites by Hilton, AMResorts and DHL.

Jennifer Valdes returns to rbb as an account director after a stint as an account supervisor at Harrison & Shriftman. There, she developed and executed successful public relations plans for a range of lifestyle clients including Bal Harbour Shops, Commune Hotels & Resorts, National YoungArts Foundation, SLS South Beach, Thompson Miami Beach, CHANEL and Prada. She will provide strategic counsel and media expertise for the firm’s travel- and tourism-focused clients such as Hampton by Hilton and AMResorts, among others.

Jennifer Cusato will serve as an account executive with a focus on corporate and B2B communications. Previously, Jennifer served as national assistant political director for Super PAC RSLC where she developed the Right Women Right Now program, which engages young professionals to support women candidates. Additionally, she spearheaded campaign strategies and initiatives at local, statewide and national levels for political candidates such as U.S. Senator Richard Burr and William Howell, the Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates. Cusato will work to provide high level media relations for such clients as AGL Resources, Lauren’s Kids, Plaza Health Network and FIU College of Nursing and Health Sciences, among others.

Alyssa Nieves comes to rbb as an assistant account executive. Previously, she served as an intern for rbb, B2 Communications and Senator Marco Rubio. During her time at Rubio’s Miami and Washington, D.C. offices, Nieves assisted with media relations and constituent services as well as aided case workers with immigration, health care and social security inquiries. In 2014, Nieves received a Bachelor of Science in public relations from the University of Florida. She will provide administrative and media relations support for regional clients such as Cleveland Clinic Florida, Sawgrass Mills and Plaza Health Network.

Alyssa Valleau joins rbb as an assistant account executive with prior experience gained at Ruder Finn’s executive training program in New York. She will assist with B2B and regional clients, including Bank of America, Berger Singerman and Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). Valleau graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in editing, writing and media.

Lauren Ricardo joins as an assistant account executive. Previously, she held a position at Zimmerman Advertising in content creation. Ricardo will serve clients in the hospitality and B2B sectors, including Hampton by Hilton, AMResorts and Gunster. Ricardo graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in information, communication and technology.
