At Johnson & Johnson, Jeff served as Vice President, Corporate Media Relations, leading the function globally; and later as Vice President, Corporate Communication, with responsibility for both external and internal communication. As head of media relations, Jeff was corporate spokesperson and chief media counselor to two chairmen and chief executive officers. He prepared the CEOs and other senior executives for interviews with leading business media, and led strategic and tactical corporate communication initiatives. Jeff also counseled senior business leaders, corporate department heads and communication colleagues at Johnson & Johnson subsidiary companies around the world on proactive media engagement and on issuesand crisis management. In his media role, Jeff also was responsible for communication involving quarterly earnings announcements, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory (SEC) filings and business review meetings with investment analysts.
Later in his career at Johnson & Johnson, Jeff had additional responsibility for overseeing global employee, supply chain, corporate equity and philanthropic communication; strategic publications, including the Annual Report; and communication support for Human Resources, the Law Department, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Procurement and the Office of Health Care Compliance and Privacy.
Jeff is a former adjunct professor, NYU School of Professional Studies, Department of Strategic Communication, Marketing and Media Management Programs; and a former president of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Society of Professional Journalists, Sigma Delta Chi.
