We’ve all had to deal with scenarios like these from time to time, especially with creative services: the last-minute project, the sky high expectations, the minuscule budget and the person who insists that “this should only take a minute.”

Designer Colin Harman has perfectly captured this ongoing dilemma as faced by graphic designers in his colorful Venn diagram. The truth is, as PR pros we have experienced how this reality applies to so many other areas of marketing as well, from event planning to media relations to social media management. It’s a fun reminder that while there are natural limitations in any kind of work, we’re always striving to deliver the best we can with what we’ve got.
