is a member of rbb Communications’ Healthcare Advisory Council and the founder & CEO of DHW Executive Consulting LLC. With nearly twenty years of marketing and communications leadership, she excels in developing brand strategies, integrated plans and compelling content that help reach and engage audiences. Most recently Debbie was the vice president of marketing and operations at the American Medical Association and at the helm of its brand revitalization initiative designed to help the 170+year old organization regain relevancy among its myriad of audiences. Within four months of launch, positive brand sentiment among its core audience increased 15 percent. Debbie has worked with both small, privately held companies as well as Fortune 100 organizations, and has launched orphan drugs, blockbuster treatments and everything in between. She brings the same level of focus, creativity and passion to each client to help them solve their marketing and communications challenges.
Debbie has previously held executive-level positions at global communications agencies as well as served as the president of the fourth largest chapter of the Public Relations Society of America with board oversight of 20 volunteers. She is currently a mentor at MATTER, the Chicago-based healthcare accelerator community seeking to advance the world of health and healthcare.
