There’s a saying that goes, “Learn the past, watch the present and create the future.” That’s precisely what makes this infographic by Cision so interesting.

While the field of public relations is evolving every day, there’s value in understanding that many of the fundamental principles are still relevant. In order to better understand how PR got to where it is today (“The press release is dead!” “Wait, no it’s not!” “Social media rules!” “Viral marketing FTW!” “PR = caffeine!“), it helps to look backward. Enjoy!
