What Should You Know About Me?
So many people think of me as the real estate PR woman. Truth is, my real passion is showing off Miami’s dynamic lifestyle, rich culture and boundless potential, which just so happens to be inextricably linked to real estate and community development. During the past two decades, I’ve gotten to see the endless synergies between those who are building great cities and those living, working and enjoying the intention and energy behind the vision. I’ve found that knowing what inspires and excites my clients is the foundation for everything else. A true publicist is always curious, aware and determined to get a response. Energy is better spent looking forward than looking to see what someone else is doing. That’s how I try to operate in my career and life.

What Career Achievement Are You Most Proud Of?
It’s a beautiful thing when career, personality and passion come together. Being able to pair ambition with people you genuinely enjoy and respect has given me a career path working with iconic figures in real estate, design and business, who are changing the way we think and live. I’d have to say one of my proudest and longest-standing relationships is with Jorge Perez, Chairman and CEO of The Related Group. I worked with Jorge on the Portofino Tower in 1995, his first condo project and the first of many gorgeous towers in South Pointe. At that point, the neighborhood did not have an identity of its own, opening up the door for transformative repositioning. Through extremely clever communications strategies, Jorge and I created “South of Fifth” together, which in turn led to international recognition and record-breaking real estate prices for Miami Beach. It was a once-in-a-career opportunity.

We’re in an era where meaningful client results and talent recruitment requires the depth and culture powered by larger, integrated entities offering a broader skill base and reach. To be on the leadership team of a truly integrated communications company is essential, particularly as the PR, marketing, digital and publishing worlds continue to evolve and collide. The Formal Introduction
My goal is always category leadership and excellence. Whether it’s through real estate, art, urban planning, philanthropy or world-class design, I’ve been privileged to co-author visionary stories that are changing perceptions and effecting change. This includes successful completions of properties that transform skylines and evolve cities, including Auberge Ft. Lauderdale, SLS Brickell, Fisher Island’s Palazzo del Sol, Zaha Hadid Architect’s One Thousand Museum, as well as the reinvention of popular neighborhoods, such as Coconut Grove, Wynwood and Las Olas Boulevard. Equally rewarding has been spearheading the US growth strategy for the international brand, Artefacto.

The Real Story
It’s all about peace, love and publicity.

The Name Dropping
I’ve met the last three Presidents (Clinton, Obama, Trump); but the bigger thrill was meeting (and hugging) Kris Kristofferson from A Star is Born (my favorite movie ever!) in an elevator at LAX.

I can spend an entire day reading a great novel and I’m deeply passionate about my commitment to animal welfare causes, including efforts toward retiring Lolita from Miami Seaquarium to a sanctuary and lowering the unwanted pet population. The most important thing I’ve realized at this point in my career is that I can personally step up to the plate with a strength and conviction that brings national attention to causes that matter to me. The rewards of my years of hard work feel very real at this stage. I’m extremely grateful.
